*The Cyclical Historical Information that is "NEW INFORMATION" Today*
Learning skills to navigate a way through life.
COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
What are the "Lost" Techniques?
People in the past typically had double the performance potential because they simultaneously oxygenated the blood and powered with the inhale part of the breath cycle.
The premise is that the "Industrial Revolution" and the advent of firearms completely changed the level of human physical performance. No longer were people required to labor/battle all day, and every day. Physical endurance and extreme levels of physical expertise is no longer a daily concern. We now purchase the quality that we need, not make it.
Today, not many: walk/shovel/carry heavy loads/swing an axe/hammer and chisel stone sculptures or building material for 12 hours a day. A few hours at the gym or running is considered a lot. Note that "old school" construction guys can immediately recognize those who use these techniques. Also real masters of gifted performance can identify, and appreciate the nuances of gifted performance. We subconsciously or metaphysically pick-up on these things though. The arts have especially retained these principles but usually in cloistered situations because the techniques become targeted. (It seems "cultural revolutions" evolve into a process of destroying these "threatening" principles by attacking the arts and education. China and Russia's purges are recent examples. The Middle East is a current example.) Also, the bio-dynamic/metaphysical techniques for physical performance for such extended periods of time have become "lost" via no longer necessary. We no longer hear about inhale techniques which constitute 1/2 of the life energy breath cycle. Yet almost every culture worshipped the "Spirit" which was defined as "Breath or Divine or Indescribable Wind."
The endurance and fine motor skills use the inhale/inner system which is no longer trained in, or even commonly known. The arts still preserve this and call it gifted or being in the zone or 2nd wind.
Also "lost": Performance and Stability are related. There is a level of performance where extreme stability reduces power and finesse because the bio-dynamics of life is not still but moving or wavelike. Motionless stability conflicts with the ability to perform in harmony with dynamic movement. The extremely high levels of performance therefore require "oneness" with time as the relationship for the power or energy and not rigid stability. The result is the concept of "being," and not flowing or in harmony with. When that last final bit of excellence is required; this is the realm. (The featured, high relief and detailed, "moon, soaring eagle, peace pipe" cut signature by chainsaw artist Ray Murphy is cut with a chainsaw, sight unseen because of the size of the chainsaw tip.) His mantra: "oneness."
Are you on Facebook?
Yes; commentary, tidbits, and insights at beinggifted.com Facebook Page
Also there are some of the videos in the video section of the page. Interaction with videos shared are posted as well as tidbits of information. Because of the holistic nature of beinggifted.com and gifted performance, there are all sorts of comments on all types of subjects. This past season's "Dancing With the Stars" commentary on the bio-dynamics/metaphysics is included.
Why are the topics of Intimidation, Terrorism, Spirituality included. Isn't this just about gifted performance?
The results are holistic so the training has to be. Bullying is one of the major problems and also is directed against gifted performance. It is also a life or death issue. Oneness also implies that all aspects and points of view need to be taken into consideration. They can be rejected, but knowledge of them is still required for a complete oneness.
A person can be in a state of oneness with selected things; but it doesn't imply that a total sense of oneness is obtained.
A state of "completion" is another way to look at the situation involving life, living, and identity.
The Sports/Physical Performance applications are a part of today's lifestyle. For those active, this offers improvements. For those not active, the bio-dynamic studies enables more active and successful participation. The "Help! I Can't Dance" Instant Dance Movement video is a huge social aid for those with "concrete feet."
How long does it take to become gifted? in sports or music or equestrian or relationships or oneness.?
The bio-dynamics of gifted performance are the specific way in which the body uses the technical skills. Even the "connecting" process is attached to this specific means of performing. Of note is that these are natural energy pathways.
A small amount of training is necessary to learn to use the muscle groups and the breath dynamics. "Giftedness" will occur using the technical skills available as soon as the bio-dynamics are applied. There is an immediate reinforcement of the process.
For most upper body movement there are two major muscle/energy groups that can be used. There are three choices of breathing cycles. Inhale, exhale, and hold. It is as simple as choosing the proper muscle/energy group to perform with the proper breathing cycle. Everything is built into our bodies. It is all about choice, and knowing what to choose from. The videos use toddler movements to illustrate that these are natural ways of performing.
For athletics/dance, basic bio-dynamics of motion that produce longer strides, faster pivots and turns, options to hand grasp technique/physics, greater speed, more power, and more endurance are also presented. Use of the breathing bio-dynamics increase natural balance as well. In gifted performance everything is connected by the same body bio-dynamics being used. Again, these are natural bio-dynamics so results occur as soon as the specific movements are learned.
Depending on the definition, "oneness" usually takes a long time and dedicated practice to achieve. "Oneness" is an awareness of the linking of the physical and the metaphysical worlds of existence. Some aspects are already there; other aspects we create. The breathing process has historically been linked to this physical/metaphysical state. Visualization and the use of breathing dynamics, especially "void" breathing, creates an instantaneous awareness and use of the physical/metaphysical state of oneness. (Void" breathing is the motionless breathing that babies do when it appears like the body isn't moving on the inhale or exhale.)
What's in it for me?
The website provides information for a balanced lifestyle in many dynamic areas.
Fulfillment has a hugely personal interpretation. In addition there are holistic concepts such as Body/Mind/Spirit and Power/Control/Beauty. Plus, needs/wants/desires have a never ending role in the never ending pursuit of what we don't have.
The website deals with the fundamentals, actually the fundamentals of the fundamentals of human gifted performance. By addressing an understanding of the basics, then subsequent issues may be resolved.
Often the need for a change or new understanding is obvious, but exactly what to do is not. So, we continue to do the same things out of a lack of knowledge of the alternatives or variables. Albert Einstein is often quoted for saying "Expect the same results if you are doing the same things."
This website is providing basic fundamentals of physical and metaphysical life that open up understanding, awareness, and applications to life.
References to historical thinking are to illustrate that these are not new ideas. But are concepts which fell out of vogue, lost in cultural purges, or are used by others and just not common knowledge.
Therefore the content of the website has a vast range of inclusion and application.
How do we know it is "master level" information when there is no definite description?
First, not trying to boast or brag because all this knowledge was because of the input and a continual process of "bringing along" that I was fortunate to receive from many; including several Masters.
Second, this is rediscovery of fundamental knowledge that was lost or hidden that is now being revealed and discovered. The principles can be seen in caveman art.
Third, It is feedback from identified and functioning "masters" that initially caused the realization of the level of performance in regards to "conventional" society.
Story: After a two hour class in which some of these techniques were part of the training, a teenage student went to perform in her piano recital. Her teacher (world tours from 8 yrs old.) recognized that something had happened from the moment the girl stood up and walked toward the stage to play. The piece brought tears to the eyes of many, including me. Afterwards the teacher asked what happened, and then said she was going to submit a recording of the girl's playing for entry into a "masters class." At the "masters class" the only comment of the Master was, "What can I say. This is what it is all about."
Working with some of the area's top musicians has produced insights and progress in techniques never thought of before (a result of the out-of-box bio-dynamics). Yet once known, caused a realization that these were areas in which the "greats" were unknowingly functioning in.
One of the top horse trainers was able to take the knowledge to even higher realms of equestrian training with insights of his own.
Sports, arts, martial arts, and physical therapy has had similar results. Immediate, unbelievable results.
Conversations with master's whose credentials are their levels of performance that no one else can duplicate (Ray Murphy, Bar Harbor, ME cutting little 1/4" X 1" eagle feathers, and an eagle soaring, in detailed high relief with the tip of a chainsaw without actually being able to see the cutting action because of the chainsaw tip. Oneness. He confirmed these fundamentals were the foundation of both his life and performance. Next he is cutting "911" with his chainsaw on a mustard seed! that will be part of a Parkinson's Disease Fundraiser.)
How do you teach creativity?
The holistic approach combines to teach creativity. Visualization/Means/Method
The use of the muscle/energy pathways that create gifted performance, creates creativity that is experienced.
Also provides a means to exercise the creativity.
The use of visualization to create specific energy produced movements which are empowered with the characteristics of the
specific thought. Power of visualization into reality. Power of one's own thoughts. Power of reality and self-awareness.
Oneness or going into the zone promotes the accessibility of the metaphysical to increase performance. There are no limits.
Use of "out-of-the-box techniques" such as "breath" promotes "out-of-the-box thinking," opens up freedom of thought,
removes barriers.
The "void" oneness used in this website for meditative purposes includes "listening" to the input from "within" and "without."
The oneness also is designed for existence in chaos/adversity where an empowerment by the chaos is received, opening up
new avenues of reflection/understandings/experience. As well as a freedom from fear. An unrestricted freedom of thought
and creativity result in any environment and at any time.
Communication also has the need for creativity as does athletics. In every endeavor there is the meeting of the needs for better performance. A holistic approach and the fact that the gifted bio-dynamic fundamentals are the same for physical performance/oneness/love means that creativity in one area of life will also create in the other areas of life.
Give an example of applied breath bio-dynamics to increasing athletic performance.
People in the past doubled their performance potential by simultaneously oxygenating their blood and empowering movement by adding the use of the inhale breath cycle bio-dynamics.
Let's use a situation where a rapid step forward is followed by a complete stop. Two steps right, reverse direction 180 degrees, three steps reverse direction 180 degrees, one step and face front. This direction change motion could be in tennis, basketball, martial art, soccer, etc.
The movement is step forward, stop. Go right, pivot, then back left, pivot, then back right, face front, stop.
*First*- Leading knees have to lead each movement, especially the pivots, for speed and to reduce the stress on the knees as the movement will dramatically increase in speed. The knee movement must turn the hips. High performance movements require high performance bio-dynamics. "Anything not in harmony with nature will fail."
Use a sharp/intense void or abdominal inhale expansion to initiate the movement of each step or pivot of the body. The body will "lighten" and remain balanced. Use a slight breath "hold" to stop or begin the change in direction. Keep the spinal column vertical.
To pattern the body/train for more speed, think of the movement as a series of breath inhales and holds.
Use your finger rubbing on a tabletop to visualize the entire sequence of movements.
Catch your breath for an inhale pulse, slight hold for a breath hold. Initiate the movements with the breath pulses.
Keep repeating the sequence using the breath pulse initiations to move the finger.
Soon the breath will move the finger without a conscious breath pulse. The breath pulse is actually too slow.
Visualize attaching the knees to the finger and move the appropriate knee to the pivoting/stepping actions.
Keep repeating until the knees move as fast as the finger. In actual practice the movement won't be quite as fast.
Slowly work up to speed in actual practice keeping the leading knees initiating the movements.
There should be no stress on the knees. If there is stress, watch the movement videos over and over until you
can do the movement properly, or get some help. The speed of the movement increases the chance of injury if
done improperly.
What/Why is the emphasis on linking together Gifted Performance/Oneness/Love?
Gifted Performance/Oneness/Love are the same principles manifested in three different areas. They follow the identical energy/muscular pathways. Therefore they are the "same." The website focuses a lot of attention on the breathing and visualization fundamentals which make them the same. These are not new ideas; but are historically the way things were thought to be. In today's culture these ideas are out-of-the-box. It is not by chance that these three areas are bio-dynamically intertwined.
Many questions are answered by examining life from this historical, holistic nature of these three concepts. Especially with modern science available. Also oneness and love is where we live. They have to be included in a presentation or two thirds of a three part model would be missing.
Inclusion of the "Empowerment over Adversity/Intimidation/Bullying" video is necessary because it is a huge issue in current life. The solutions presented may not be what everyone would like to hear, but are realistic and historically proven.
Why BeingGifted.com?
The purpose of BeingGifted.com is to answer the questions like: “How do I increase my total performance level in life?” "How can I learn to experience more in day to day living?" "Any ideas about what is missing in my life?"
Extremely fundamental theory is presented, and the person is taught how to apply the theories to their own performance in their own particular fields of endeavor. Understanding transferable fundamentals allows personal applications to be easily transferred to a variety of situations. Books, video, and website content provide the training material.
There are the technical/mechanical aspects of performance where training and practice produce a level of skill. However, there is also the way these skills are utilized; the "how." Technically perfect does not produce the speed, balance, creativity, connective properties, "magic" of the gifted performance. The dilemma is that most gifted people don’t know how to explain exactly how they do it. It usually is a natural, unconscious way of doing. "This is just how I do it. They can show technique, but there is still the elusive question of “How?”
Beinggifted.com answers the question of "How."
The "How" includes a holistic approach to be effective.
What about just more practice?
There is a point where more practice of what you are already doing doesn't take you to where you want to go.
"If you are repeating the same things, expect the same results."
“If You are doing the same things as everyone else; You are not going to rise above the crowd.”
Interesting is the advice to practice to the point of total exhaustion; and then you will obtain a break through.
This works because the body will go into survival muscle movements which work on the inhale energy. This is the muscle group featured in the gifted performance. Imagine drowning and reaching out for a life preserver. Try the motion for yourself with an exhale, and then with an inhale. The inhale movement uses less energy and has more speed and power.
BeingGifted.com is teaching the “inhale muscle group bio-mechanics” for application to all endeavors. Keep in mind that we are inhaling 50% of the time. Half of our potential! Adding another 50% to access is a huge increase in potential.
Breath teachings, especially inhale teachings, are definitely “OUT-OF-THE-BOX!!!
But they naturally work.
What is BeingGifted.com?
BeingGifted.com provides theory, instruction, and training methods for advancing an individual’s performance in all human activity.
Because we perform holistically, a holistic approach is presented. No weak links to limit potential.
Also historically proven fundamentals are presented.
Video files and books are the means of transmitting the information. Most of the videos feature an actual learning session with an individual so a private method of teaching is fully experienced; including the time frame it takes to learn the technique.
Different individuals require different teaching methods and levels of instruction so multiple videos on the same topic, or related topics, reveal different information.
The concept is that restoring the body’s natural performance abilities can be learned. Performance ability and technical skills are two different things. Both require practice to become integrated into one’s life. Giftedness is the full manifestation of the person’s abilities; both natural and trained.
Gifted performance is natural and often described as “this is just how I do it.” Many times instruction from these sources is still on the technical nuances; and not on the “how.”
It is the application of “how” the technique is applied that is often not recognized, and can be learned. Understanding, and then acquiring the use of these fundamental “how” theories leads to a natural progression that will provide further applications in other areas of life.
Of note is that because these are natural bio-dynamics the results occur immediately. Practice will assimilate them. In a scientific mindset, one of the benefits of recording actual teaching sessions is that the repeatable immediate improvements can be observed/documented.
Breathing???!!!
Throughout history breathing has been connected to the metaphysical; and is the link between the physical and metaphysical world. Many sayings express this linkage. For example: "Everyone just calm down. Let's all just take a few deep breaths."
"Take a deep breath and think about this."
Taking a deep breath when hitting a finger with a hammer, touching something hot, or sharp pain.
Screaming to express emotion.
A deep sigh to express emotion, calming down.
Physical power by yelling.
Rhythm connection.
Breathing is a cycle of life, life itself. The immediate life infusing power of an inhale is hard to comprehend when you really think about it.
Expansion and contraction of the body and body tissues are translated into movement, including the most precise motor/muscle control.
Breathing is foundational to gifted performance.
Metaphysical experiences accessed by breathing create oneness with objects and concepts outside the body as well as within.
Breathing dynamics have been often associated with the supernatural, ethereal, and divine.
The Basic Premise/Theory
The basic premise is that functioning in as many of the areas/parts of human bio-dynamics as possible will increase the level of an individual’s performance.
Gifted performance occurs naturally; but also can be learned.
If the concepts are not natural, they will eventually fail.
(Some people may not believe in the “body/mind/spirit” concept for humans; but for these purposes it works to explain the processes, especially because the “spirit” is defined as “breath.”
Spirit/“Breath” vs. “Religion”: Breathing rhythms have always linked the physical and metaphysical universes.
It is vitally important to separate the concepts/definitions of “spirit” as being “breath;” vs. “spirit” as being “religion.”
There are historical references to “spirit” being defined as “breath” throughout the world and by all cultures. In fact it is unusual not to find the use of “spirit” as “breath” in all the original language definitions. Perhaps this concept is one of those that were “lost” as society has marched onward.
Body/Mind/Spirit-
A three part concept of human beings is being assumed. Operating with all three parts in synchronization/balance should contribute to higher performance levels. Not utilizing any one of these three parts equals a one third of a loss in human potential. This holistic approach includes body health and wellness; and not just physical performance or undertakings. As gifted performance increases, so should health and wellness. And visa versa.
“The weakest link of the chain determines its strength under tension.”
I’ve read articles by Navy SEALS who advocate as mandatory the unity of the holistic qualities of body/mind/spirit.)
The “Mind” is defined as mental thinking, and focusing, and visualization activities. The often overlooked power of “visualization” is an important aspect to the balanced application of these gifted human performance techniques.
The “Spirit” is the worldwide traditional definition of Spirit as “Breath, or Divine Breath/Wind.” Familiar examples are:
The “ha” of aloha/Hawaii is translated as “Divine Breath.”
The American Indian “Great Spirit” is “Holy Breath or Wind.”
“Pranayama” is “Breath,” everything in the Hindu/India applications.
African cultures include “Num” as “Creative Breath.”
Hebrew/Christian/Muslim Genesis tradition has “Ruach” and “Holy Spirit” as “Breath” and also God.
"Kokyuho" is breath in Japanese. "Ki/Chi" is energy which travels with the breath in Asian spirit/energy theory.
Defining “Spirit” as breath allows the physical application of the study of the breath cycles of inhale, exhale, and hold. Bio-dynamics of the “inhale,” with its expansion and oxygenating physics are in synchronization with the “exhale,” with its contraction and waste removing physics.
The usually ignored “Spirit” portion of the Body/Mind/Spirit concept of humans leaves one third of one’s existence as not functioning or contributing. Breathing bio-dynamics are one of the foundational dynamics of existence, and life. (Try holding your breath for a while and experience the life giving and expansion properties of the inhale.)
Gifted performance is usually obtained by those who consciously or unconsciously use both the inhale and exhale physics for their human performance. Inhale is half of the breathing cycle, and therefore half of the bio-dynamic potential.
Training in the realm of breath applications helps to create the balance in Body/Mind/Spirit required for Gifted Performance.
BeingGifted.com focuses on all three aspects of the Body, Mind and Spirit. This three part concept of being is holistic. Although a balance would be ideal; at least some consideration must be given to all three parts. Otherwise functioning is either only a 1/3 or a 2/3’s of potential; which is nowhere near the capability of gifted performance.
“Healing, Wellness, and Pain Reduction” is one of the first videos offered because of the physical demands of high level performance. Any tension significantly limits the possibility of excellence at this higher level of functioning. Of course pain and injury are obvious hindrances. The openness to creativity and connectivity also have physical dimensions.
Why the concern with the Body?
Most performance involves the body in some way or the other. Physical performance and physical arts obviously. However fatigue, injury, illness, pain, etc. affect performance. Limitations due to physical demands are a consideration as the level of any performance increases. This is why a “wellness and healing” video with “flexibility” added to it is one of the first videos being released.
There are advanced performance techniques which by-pass some of the “physical/body” aspects which will be available later.
Why the concern with the Mind?
Visualization is a huge part of all gifted performance. It is the foundation of “void” techniques, including breathing.
Also the mind has to be stress free for optimum performance and functioning. One of the reasons that a video on “Adversity, Intimidation, and Bullying” is included in the first of the videos is because of its importance to performance and the wellbeing, and sometimes even the survival of a person. Overcoming these areas, and even becoming strengthened by these encounters is vital to sustained success in the harsh and brutal reality of today’s society/world. To succeed we first have to survive.
Why the concern with the spirit?
Spirit is defined as “breath” for our purposes. Everyone is constantly breathing. There are powers/energies connected to both the inhale and exhale which are consciously, or sub consciously, used in gifted performance. In fact the spirit defined as breath may be the major contributing factor next to practice.
“What’s love got to do with it?”
A lot. Actually everything.
“Do what you love” or “love what you do” is actually good advice. Advanced void techniques (oneness or being in the zone) are affected by energy. Love enhances. Some other energies can cause a disconnect. The coach’s advice to “go out and have fun” taps into this principle.
This is because the energy bio-dynamics of gifted physical performance and joy/love are the same. An increase of functioning in one area improves the performance in the other areas.
The bio-dynamic pathways used to express love and connections are the same pathways used in gifted performance. Therefore we can assume they are connected in certain fundamental ways. By learning the nature of the bio-dynamics of either, we understand the entire human experience in a better way. Although we may not directly “fall in love;” we will certainly be able to “connect” better. (And then fall in love.) This is why a video clip of a great grandmother reaching for a child is used as an illustration of gifted performance bio-dynamics in some of the videos.
There are many types of love: friendship,
brotherly love,
family,
romance,
affection,
sensual,
admiration,
etc.
The ways and means to express each type of love varies. Understanding how the physical and metaphysical bio-dynamics of love work is an asset. Therefore means of expression, especially appropriate expression, leads to a freedom of response. Even a loving presence has a powerful metaphysical connection involving oneness.
Basically speaking, incorporating these bio-dynamics into oneself will improve “love life/living/relationships.”
And the answer to the obvious next question is: “Yes, because these bio-dynamics increase sensitivity, blood circulation, and have body expansive properties; the physical aspects are increased for everyone.
“There is no fear in love. Love destroys fear.” This is why the video on “Empowerment through Adversity, Intimidation, and Bullying” is one of the first videos released. This is not about lip-service to holistic concepts.
Aren’t these rather expensive videos?
Yes they are expensive for a video; but not in terms of the content of obtaining “master class” information. A video can be considered a few hour of master class lessons. With the advantage of viewing over and over. "Education takes either time or money." Beinggifted.com is saving you the time and expense of discovering this information on your own "time and dime." That is what education is all about. The amount of information is deliberately compressed to convey as much information as possible. Training to incorporate the principles is for your own time, not the videos. (Typically a lot of education consumes the time it takes to incorporate the ideas.) A lesson by a master may or may not reveal this information because much of gifted performance is not analyzed by the performer in this way. Most gifted people remark that this is just how I “do it.” Plus access to these people is really hard to obtain. An is the story about the “Bent Leaf” in the Introduction Video, if a person never realized the leaf bending was about to spring back up; they may have gained a lifetime of learning experience by being exposed to a new realm of insight.
In time these techniques will become the norm, books will abound, and the knowledge will be essentially free.
To the very gifted, this info or even tidbits are priceless. It gives them something to build upon.
The free information of the basic breathing processes on this website and the free videos and books are in a supporting role to the more precisely directed application videos.
What if I watch all the "free stuff"; read the books; buy an expensive video; and nothing happens?
No problem.
I've been teaching this stuff for over twenty years. That is why I know this information is valuable to anyone who has the interest and desire to learn. The videos are of applying specific instructions to the various people in a live, unrehearsed session. The ability to address the specific needs present at the moment is what the videos are about. Everyone is different. A different approach may be the answer.
E-mail me with complete information about what information you used, and what improvements you were looking for and in what areas. Any previous experience and where you are at with the subject. Be as complete as possible. There is a contact page with an e-mail address.
An e-mail reply, or series of replies will be given. Replies should be somewhat prompt; can't guarantee immediate. We can also try Skype if the e-mails don't work.
What if the video files don't work?
Contact both beinggifted.com and PayLoadz, the video service. They are very service oriented and have been extremely helpful with this endeavor.
With computers anything can go wrong.
There may be a different file type that needs to be available.
The types of files and their applications are posted on the "Products/Videos Page." Usually four or five file sizes are sent as a package so hopefully one of the files is what you need. A Windows Media Video file is for Windows, an I Phone file is for Apple products, MPEG4 formats should work on all other hand held devices. Three different sizes of MPEG4 files are for three different sizes of screens. The download includes all of them. A DVD disc image file is also sometimes so the burning of a DVD is possible. Instructions for disc burning of the file is also on the "Products/Videos Page."
How quickly are results obtained? And why?
Amazingly, because the principles are natural principles already “programmed” into the human being; results happen immediately. At birth the body moves with breath expansive movements until being a toddler. As the child matures these movements are changed to head or thought movements. The restoring of expansive movements is natural so easily regained. Their unique properties are labeled as gifted. The addition of another realm of performance is what makes the gains so huge and dramatic.
One of the purposes for using some highly trained and experienced people for some of the video workshops is to illustrate the immediate effects of the type of performance increase that even a well-trained person can obtain immediately. Their comments are especially revealing of the type of information revealed. For the gifted or elite performers any increase in potential is a tremendous asset. Building upon new understandings elevates to new and unique heights.
How can I determine if there is anything for me to learn?
*Watch the free video on this website titled “An Introduction to Gifted Performance.” Also the free "Safer Driving" Video introduces hand grasp bio-dynamics and visualization with an additional "ride along video clip" that will allow a live application of some of the techniques as you watch the video.
Then determine if there are concepts presented in this "Introductory Video” that you are/were unfamiliar with. If so, then anticipate that there are advanced concepts that will be available to discover. If you are unfamiliar with breathing techniques, then this information will be entirely new. There is enough content in these "Answers to questions" to determine if there are learning possibilities.
*There are clips on this website and you tube to give a perspective of the contents of each video.
*Also there are books on Kindle by Gary Ohama that are inexpensive ways to see if there is any content that you are not familiar with, and therefore could add to your repertoire of thinking and performing. The basic "breathing" information is in the books; although one free video is a short lesson on the breathing techniques. Most of the videos are for specific applications to performance.
Wanting to "know what you don’t know" is a first step to opening new frontiers.
The advantage of this website is that “How to get there” is a fundamental part of the instruction of each teaching video. You are witnessing a live training session. Each video is complete in that other training methods are also included. Mental knowledge is not enough. Practice to assimilate.
How do I get there? Obtain the ability to utilize the concepts?
Each video teaches theory; goes through steps that instruct how to apply/obtain the bio-dynamics that apply the theory, or create it within you; and presents practice techniques and/or other applications. The bio-dynamics are fundamental so working in one area with successful results will easily translate to success in other areas.
Knowing about the bio-dynamics is not enough. The bio-dynamics have to be integrated into your own state of being/living.
This is interesting. I never heard about these things before. Can these ideas change the world? How?
HOW: This entire website focuses on the "How."
It is not by chance that gifted performance, wellness, and love expression all use the same bio-dynamic energy pathways.
Collectively, voids that everyone has within themselves are filled by these three holistically intertwined attributes.
Unique is that as new voids are created as old void are filled; then a natural re-filling process occurs in a continual evolution of "lifting up."
The "lifting up evolution process" is not a "survival of the fittest evolution process."
(Which is the reason for the adversity/intimidation/bullying resolution presented in this website and video.)
Everyone can function in "giftedness" in some way or another.
Athletics, music, arts, hobbbies, art appreciation, sports fans, aficionados, fashion, literally anything can be appreciated in a gifted manner. Singing in the shower! Videos on the gifted bio-dynamics of everything are planned. The human experience is that people engage in everything and anything in a gifted manner.
Pre-school on up can teach this as part of activities. So can arts and physical education and health classes.
After school classes can be offered in any activity. Public buildings such as libraries and recreation centers could add classes, perhaps on a rotation basis. Adult evening classes and the YMCA and church buildings.
In every activity there is someone doing it using the bio-dynamics of giftedness. Most people never study the bio-dynamics of what they are doing. So, for these gifted people to be able to share their giftedness; all they need to know is the principles involved. Ready made teachers, life coaches, and mentors! Most of whom would appreciate the opportunity to share. (Another realm of giftedness being brought into play!)
How did you learn this stuff? Who taught you? What books are available?
This is about a path of re-discovery. These principles were figured it out in a re-discovery environment, that included teaching. For over twenty years have been actively teaching and developing these concepts. Motivation studies and spirituality have always been an interest. In college Jacque Piaget, the behaviorist psychologist who did most of his research by observing children was a favorite. also an American psychologist whose name I forget did research on changing the behavior changes the person. Also stressed was the importance to look to the truths of the past to build a foundation of discovery upon. This engages and supplies time tested true food for thought. I also had the great fortune to be mentored by many people, including masters in many areas of endeavor. These people think differently. (An example is a world class master woodworker named Adam Martini told me that one of his secrets to consistent high quality is that he knows how to perfectly fix all his mistakes. Always relaxed!) Also contributions and support of various sorts by many people, including my students who taught me so much. Oneness with everyone is important for the viewpoints and dimensions that don't exist within oneself.
After a certain level, it is the little tidbits of information from other sources that are built upon. The brief mentioning of something heard only once; or a single line in a book.
Learning/discovery doesn't occur in a vacuum. Living in an environment where others are also "seeking" has been absolutely vital to progress and discovery. Realizing that there is so much out there that isn't known is a good starting point for a seeking attitude. Also listening to and observing everyone.
One of the "tests for truth" is that if the bio-dynamic concept didn't work for everybody, and immediately when they did the technique properly, it wasn't natural or true. This weeded out a lot. Saved time. Working with adults and children proved the concepts to be true/working. Usually dramatic increases in performance were obtained. Of course the person then had to practice by continually using the concept for it to become integrated into their natural way of performing. We can teach the concept, prove that it works; but you have to integrate it into yourself.
It is important to emphasize that these techniques are “new” in the sense that they are not common knowledge. These techniques and the bio-dynamics have been known forever, and may have been the original way of doing things/performance. In the Arts we see evidence in the cave art of early man. The great painting and sculpture masters exhibit the same effects. As do other “gifted” individuals. Even in athletics. The universal concept of “Spirit” as being “Breath” is not common in today’s “Western” society. Yet it is central to many cultures of today. Once you know what to look for, it is everywhere. We don’t know, what we don’t know.
What happens is that once a concept is thought up; if true then it is validated either by individual performance and/or it is seen working in others. The dilemma is that you don’t know what to look for until an understanding is obtained. Much of the information is there but needs to be analyzed from the viewpoint of the culture that created it. Once the breath rhythm concept was discovered, looking at current activity from the viewpoint of the original breath related culture revealed many new understandings. The learning process builds until it is where these videos are now at. “New” understandings are always being discovered, or re-discovered. There is more.
Some of the knowledge may have been “lost” or are secret teachings by cloistered individuals/societies. (What was eradicated by the “Great Cultural Revolution” of China that is now in need of re-discovery? Russian Icon painting/writing had a similar fate but is now being revived. For example the “new” Russian Systema is a group that has these same principles of breath and spirit as core foundations.)
* Many techniques were/can/had to be only orally transmitted to selected individuals under conditions of secrecy throughout the ages. Oh well.
However there is now most likely the resurgence of these techniques throughout the world. A rediscovery. A renaissance.
Books are now on Kindle listed by the author Gary Ohama. The books provide the basic breathing rhythm background information for the bio-dynamics and breathing rhythm theories and practice. Books may address specific applications, but the method of breathing bio-dynamics presented is the same. There also is a free video on the basic breathing techniques so you can see it being taught.
Reading one book and applying the principles to the other subjects is the most cost effective way to go. Efficiency would be to read books specific to your various interests to obtain the tidbits of information related to the title. The books are inexpensive. Obtaining "tidbits" is worth it.
The paid videos address specific applications to specific individuals so a learning session can be experienced for yourself. Progress and speed of progress in someone else can be witnessed. This is master level information packed into a short session. However the rapid learning curve can be observed in the participants. Some are novices and some are highly experienced so you can witness the amount of progress available for everyone.
The dilemma is that “new” concepts are often ahead of the times so it takes a while for acceptance into the mainstream/norm. Of course that is also what makes them now appear as “gifted,” and out of reach, to the norm.
What is the format of the videos?
The format of the performance videos is usually a video taping of an actual learning session with a person or group on a particular topic of interest to them. Ideally they are already experienced in that endeavor. The immediate improvements during the teaching session are then more attributed to the experience of the session. Also the improvements, and candid comments of the participants assist in making the teaching video a real learning experience for the viewer.
Observing people totally unfamiliar with the breath techniques is best for teaching the basic breath technique. The books are also a good source for this inexpensively. Results are not previously rehearsed.
Some of the participants are already very accomplished in their field. For these people, any means of improvement is extremely valuable, priceless, because they have exhausted all contemporary avenues of instruction. Possibilities are learned from watching these people in the teaching sessions. Because they are gifted any new concept/insight obtained gives them a new foundation to build upon, unique to themselves.
The videos also include other teaching methods, or applications, which will help to serve as processes to integrate the bio-dynamics into one’s own being. For example a video on driving a vehicle using energy principles and visualization functions is the additional training part of a piano music video. “Head Knowledge” or “Knowing About” or “Facts Familiarization” are not enough to create performance. The knowledge has to be assimilated and then used, eventually spontaneously as the way of being/living.
Because these are individual teaching sessions tailored to the needs of the person or group, different instruction and concepts may be given during sessions on the identical topic. As time progresses more videos on the same subject, as well as other subjects will be produced and offered. Eventually some type of “counseling/advice/chat” will be developed. Until then, e-mail. This video undertaking is new, feedback is welcome. Also, topics of interest. Video quality will improve as things progress. The information is the priority. Looking good/better will come.
Note that a certain video will have many different applications. This is because of the depth of the foundational and natural concepts being offered.
What are the concepts/theory behind the use of “visualization” and artistic creativity/expression, and originality?
This theory/concept begins with a definition of the creative process being the personal expression or result of the cumulative inputs of thoughts and experience, past and present. The reality is that the performance is unique to the person, and the moment. Yet it is a reflection of the past. Visualization is a powerful energy tool. It is one of the many things that link the physical and the meta-physical. (Love, Breathing.)
“Personal” is important because the results are individual and reflect individuality in all ways, including the influence of time and stimulus affecting the person at that precise moment. This is where the definition of “Spirit” as personal “Breath” comes in. Breathing rhythms are the link between the physical and the metaphysical. Also the holistic body/mind/spirit concept. The “breath expansion movement” is literally the experience of the exact moment in body/mind/spirit. It could be thought of as a type of “one point.” Also, one moment in the sense that another inhale, or an exhale, has not occurred. In art and/or physical movement the replication of the same breath pattern has the ability to create/replicate the same movement, including the energy/expression. (Such as a series of lines, a row of identical objects, a precise music note, a repeated stepping motion in dance, or the same exact motion in a golf swing.) The combined effects influencing the person are in a way creating an “original” snapshot of that exact moment time wise.
The extent of the clearness/tension/suppleness of the body influences the ability to breath. Which in a breath expansion movement is greatly producing a “signature” of that moment, it’s creativity, and energy, and connective properties. The freedom to release, uninhibited, raises the potential for creativity and gifted performance. Of course, a closed/restricted output is also an “original,” and creates/impacts in a different way, with different results. (The harmful role of “tension and stress” to gifted performance is why the importance of beginning this video production series with a video on empowerment over adversity, intimidation, and bullying. Void/oneness impairment is also one of the harmful effects. The holistic concept of body/mind/spirit is a reality of these theories and not just a nice sounding catch phrase.)
“Visualization” is a creative means of experiencing, expressing, and/or becoming something. Creative in that we can produce something, with physical effects, by thinking about it. The “driving’ video instantly illustrates physical effects of visualization. Visualizing ahead where the exact path of where the tire tracks are supposed to be will steer the vehicle along that path. The “look where you want to go”/”you will go where you are looking” effect is this fact applied. Don’t look at the row of parked cars or the cars coming toward you or you will drive toward them. Don’t look over the cliff. Looking over the cliff is part of the live experience portion of the video.
Visualizing/meditating the object/expression places those qualities within you. The inhale breath expansion is the means by which those qualities are transferred out, communicated, and utilized. Music is a good example of this, as are the other arts. Love is a most blatant example. Which is why it is always featured/mentioned. The communication of the performer connects the experience to others.
